36/37 weeks

Tomorrow marks 37 weeks pregnant! WOW, WOW and WOW!
Dan said this morning 'We are 37 weeks tomorrow and bubs can come anytime now' 'We're full term'.
Can you believe it?? Time has gone sooooo fast!

Today I spent the day packing mine and bubs bags - yes I know I am not organized and late with packaging bags but they are DONE!
When we had the scare last Monday that we might be in early labour I found myself running around the house trying to find things to take with me and I probably didn't even have everything.
Now today I had a check list and have ticked off everything for bubs.
Last things we need to do is put the pram together and get the capsule in the car and then I think we are completely set to go.

I actually watched a video on Monday with a lady giving birth and I was traumatised that I have to go through all that. Us poor women!! But then it made tears come to my eyes when I saw the mother with her newborn.
I am scared but excited at the same time. Scared about having to give birth and go through a labour that could last for hours. I'm scared I'll forget what to do for the best care of bubs - I feel like all my childcare knowledge has kind of just flown out of my brain. But then when I discussed my fears with Dan last night he said 'Don't worry all your natural instincts with being a mummy will come to you' and he's right.... well lets hope so anyways ;P

Last Friday I finished up at work for maternity leave.
Gosh these past 3 days have been such a challenge... I felt lonely on the first day thinking my gosh I don't like this as I'm so used to having people constantly around me at work.
Having week days off and not having to go to work is really weird... I haven't had a break like this for 6-7 years!
There isn't much to do really... If I go out then I'll spend money on things we don't need. When I'm at home theres just housework really and that's not fun haha.
I could study my personal training course which I really need to get ontop off but that's another case of that's not fun.

When I walked into the office last Monday to start my last week I got the best surprise with my desk being decorated up, was very sweet!!

Baby Shower

On the weekend Dan & I had our baby shower. I have never been to a baby shower ever so I had no idea what I should be doing by co-organizing it with my sister.
We had a nice little knit group turn out, I was disappointed with a few people not turning up and having people bail out last minute but being hormonal I took it too much to heart.

Our little girl got absolutely spoilt - so much love and so many gifts were shared and have been shared before hand from those who are in our lives. Dan & I are truly blessed to have so many good people in our life.

All bubs goodies that she was gifted for her baby shower-

Dan & I only baby shower day - 36weeks 2days with a bulging baby bump-

First game of the day - string cutting to how big you think baby belly is -

The 3 photos below - last game of the day: skulling water from sippy cups -

After having a tantrum over my cake - my beautiful sister buys a cake and redecorates it herself -

I've always loved the ideas of candy buffets and for my baby shower I did a DIY candy buffet -
All pink themed of course.

Present opening time and having some snaps with the family-

Get Festival Season ready with ELEVEN Australia

Through my blogging adventure and being a product reviewer there is a brand of hair products that I have grown to LOVE and HIGHLY RECOMMEND - ELEVEN Australia is the name.

ELEVEN is here to get you FESTIVAL season ready!! These will be the essentials that any gal or lad will need - especially if you are on those few day festivals!!

Here is what I have on the festival season recommend list from ELEVEN:
HYDRATE MY HAIR Shampoo & Conditioner

With the use of 'Hydrate My Hair' by ELEVEN I first off found my hair smelling like lollies for hours afterwards.Seriously how can a hair product smell likes lollies - whatever it is, ELEVEN have done it!
Secondly Hydrate My Hair really does 'hydrate' your hair bringing it back to that bright healthy look that would have people commenting 'She has good hair.'

My hair I struggled with being dry and dull but now my hair not only looks gorgeously soft - it actually is soft! It brings the lusciousness out of those locks that have been hidden away and gives your hair a really good tending too leaving you knowing that your hair has been looked after well.

Something I have always loved about ELEVEN and well tell you all again is there straight forward writing on the packaging of their products. It tells you exactly what it is and what it will do without having to pick it up and read the backs or fine prints on the front.
It's bold and elegant!

ELEVEN is taking up hair salons by storm and as we went to get Daniel's hair cut last weekend at our local, the shelves at this salon were stocked floor to ceiling high with ELEVEN products.
Now you can have that salon effect on your hair at home too!

GIVE ME CLEAN HAIR Dry Shampoo & GIVE ME HOLD Flexible Hairspray.

All Eleven products smell amazing with that scent that gifts off fresh clean hair. When you're out for long periods of times and can't get time to wash that hair like at the so many day long festivals these 2 babies will come in handy!

GIVE ME CLEAN HAIR DRY SHAMPOO
RRP $22.95 for 130g
A quick-fix spray to remove oil and refresh hair without water. Simple and easy to use, this spray is definitely the number 1 festival essential this summer.
Directions: Shake well. Spray from 25cm onto dry hair and oily areas. Brush out or disperse with fingertips.

Key Benefits:
1. Cleans hair without water
2. Removes oils and odours
3. Adds texture
4. Subtle hold
5. Paraben free

I am a huge lover of dry shampoo and one this one is on the top of the list - this dry shampoo is the first I have tried that does not leave my hair looking white and grey from when I sprayed it into my hair. Although I was wearing a black top at the time and it seemed to appear in white smudges on my clothing but not in my hair (easily cleaned off my clothes with some water though).
Once sprayed into my hair I would just kind of give it a rub into my hair and it would then thicken back up with it looking non oily.
Being that it is still winter and it's a struggle to want to be out of bed - dry shampoo can cover you so you don't have to leave the house with wet hair. Spray some dry shampoo in and then not worry about washing your hair till the night time.
Most of us girls aren't every day washers of our hair so this is a great product to get you by through those non-hair wash days.
To me this dry shampoo has a light vanilla smell leaving your hair looking and feeling oil less from not being washed.

GIVE ME HOLD FLEXIBLE HAIRSPRAY
$21.95 for 300g
An all-round workable hairspray that can be used for shaping & finishing - perfect for finishing off your festival hair without having to worry about losing your look.

Directions: Shake well. Spray from 25cm onto dry, styled hair. Rework hair as required.

Key Benefits:
1. Flexible and weightless hold
2. Adds texture
3. Creates shape and movement
4. Finishing spray

Literally this hairspray smells like I've got the best hair perfume going on ever!! It smells like daisies - clean, freshly scented this hairspray is!
I love that when I used this hairspray it didn't clump all my hair together, It just blended with my hair and did what my hair was doing and went with it.
It went on a treat and was very easy to wash out once I was finished with my hair do.
I got the best maximum hold from this hairspray and was left with gorgeously smelling hair! I don't think there is any product on the market that could bet the hold and scent this hairspray has!

Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color by Sally Hansen

INTRODUCING FUZZY COAT TEXTURED NAIL COLOR

Imagine textured nails with 3D fabric finishes in a flash! Transform your manicure with Sally Hansen’s newest nail innovation: Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color.

Taking inspiration from the strong textural themes at the latest runway shows, Sally Hansen has developed a new, exclusive special effect formula that makes nails the focal point of any look. The breakthrough formula goes where no nail color has gone before, creating eye-catching optical effects and adding lust-worthy texture to your manicure. Blurred, woven and marbled fiber looks resembling hand-spun yarn are combined in a multidimensional network of color to create a matte finish with a fibered texture effect.

Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color is something different, it reminds me of those pink lamingtons you can buy, I think this is the pregnancy speaking out once again - not that I'm eating a huge amount in pregnancy right now but I am comparing what seems like everything to a food item!

I received 3 colors to try and test out for my reviews and straight away when they arrived I had to give them a go, as you will see I was recently trying caviar nails and velvet nails and have been big on trying all the new nail trends.
Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color is definitely a trendy look.
I applied mine just to my plain nails which I wasn't so keen with the look but if you were to put a base color underneath they sure would sparkle!

The feel on your nails is a bit weird at first as its a little rough and I wasn't so sure on the little flake parts that make it a fuzzy coat - but they stayed. Man did this nail polish stay! When it came time for me to remove the fuzzy coat it was like super glued to my nails - this is my only flaw to it, It was a hard task to get off and left such a mess all over my clothes with the flakes.
But if you want something strong and long lasting this is your guy.

I wore my nails for about 5 days before they started chipping off at the ends, I think I am pretty rough with what happens to my hands so its probably my own fault that they started chipping.

HOW TO USE IT:
Shake gently and apply 2-3 thin coats.
(Fuzzy Coat can be used alone or on top of any Sally Hansen Nail Colour)

Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Color is available in 7 beautifully textured shades (as shown in first picture for post):
Wool Lite, All Yarned Up, Peach Fuzz, Tight Knit, Fuzz-Sea, Wool Knot & Tweedy.

The ones I tried and tested was:
Wool Lite, Tight Knit & Fuzz Sea (as pictured above)

Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat is $9.95.
Available 1st August from Priceline, Priceline Pharmacy, Target, Kmart, Terry White Chemists, Chemist Warehouse and independent pharmacies nationally.
