I have always grown up with having our main meals at the dining table altogether and every meal always contained a meat. Now that I have grown up and have my own little family - one little girl at the moment but Dan & I plan to fill our dining table with a few more bottoms on the chairs, it's just as important to come together for our meals and enjoy quality food and Peppercorn provide exactly that.
Peppercorn Foods for us just has the smell and follows through with the taste of fresh food.
Dan has always said that we if we have burgers or meatballs they aren't allowed to be just your plain jane mince rolled into a meatball or rissole, so I know I have that tick of approval when there is just that much put into them that it's an explosive flavour bomb in your mouth!

Extra Lean Meatballs is the newest addition under Peppercorn Foods and have so many key points that make them stand out:
- Have The Heart Foundation tick
- Less than 3% saturated fat
- No artificial flavours or colours
- Made with fresh ingredients
- Gluten free
Available at Woolworths nationally $7.99 per pack, 20 meatballs (20g each)
Even down to the packaging Peppercorn Foods look after you, their packaging is just luxury and beautifully elegantly presented. As my picture above shows you the meatballs come in a deep individual circular tray that keeps their shape and good for when they are freezing so they aren't all stuck together as much.
For my household we are eating healthy and making sure we feed our body with the right nourishing fuel so seeing that they have the extra lean and less fat options was immediately something that would have drawn us in from seeing these on the shelves.
I will say though that there was a large taste of onion that comes through the sausages and meatballs which for us wasn't ideal only because we aren't huge onion lovers, well I used to be but after not eating them in pregnancy because they were so off putting I struggle now post-pregnancy still with them!
Above: I did some meatballs with a green salad. This was just a really easy put together dinner.
This was a favourite dish from the extra lean mince meatballs. I just cooked up the meatballs in a fry pan and then added in a tomato based sauce and simmered until the sauce was hot and then popped on top of some slendier low carb spaghetti meatballs. DELICIOUS!
Peppercorn Food Company also specialise in burgers and sausages.
Here is a creation with the Extra Lean Beef Burgers - we did an open 'no carb' burger.
Instead of using a burger bun bread roll we used lettuce leaves as the burger holds and added in some cucumber, tomato and carrot. It's almost like a salad but doesn't have the look of a salad hehe.
No condiments were added because the burgers themselves just have so much to offer that it's not necessary.
Did I leave your mouth watering too after the post and especially the photos?
