REVIEW: Sally Hansen Spring Racing Collection Nail Polish

SPRING RACING COLLECTION

RRP $9.95.
Available now exclusively at Priceline for a limited time.

WHAT ARE THEY: Seven Spring Racing inspired shades of premier polish. As the ultimate colour authority, Sally Hansen has always set the trends when it comes to nail shades. This season is no different – the latest Sally Hansen shades are perfect for spring and are designed to make a statement. From pretty pastels to chic neutrals these new limited edition shades of Complete Salon Manicure are sure to have you race-day-ready this Spring.

THE TECHNOLOGY: Formulated with three proprietary time-released, protecting shine enhancers, Complete Salon Manicure delivers lasting shine – the closest you can get to a gel effect without a gel manicure. Housed in breakthrough nano-tubes, the shine enhancers are released as your nails flex during daily wear and tear, helping to provide maximum chip-resistance.

THE BRUSH: This Precision Brush was developed exclusively by Sally Hansen. It is rounded to fit the curve of your cuticles and is perfectly shaped to hug the contours of your nails. With an 800-bristle count, shorter brush length, and precision product pick up, the brush promotes better application for better wear.

I received 2 shades to test out - Barracuda:
I don't usually wear blues - not my color of choice, but this shade Barracuda was a light pale baby blue that I actually would wear out on my nails. This shade does need a few applications before it comes out in a solid color on your nails.

And also Tickle Me Pink:
I don't think that it was much of a pink shade though, it's more red as you can see in my images above.
The thing I loved about this shade was that you only had to apply one coat and it was already this vibrant solid color.

With Sally Hansen's complete SALON MANICURE Spring Racing Collection nail enamel I found that it really was like having a shellac/gel on your nails. The shades were glossy, shiny and smooth.
It has this very silky look and feel to the enamel when on your nails.
The awesome thing about this is they already give you the top coat look in it so no need to spend those extra minutes doing a top coat!! Great for mummies who don't have those few extra minutes!
I loved how they have the smaller brushes to apply onto your nails - it's easier to control the flow of the nail polish onto your nails and easier to drive that brush around the curves to your nails.

I found the nail enamels stayed on for about 5-6 days before it started chipping and coming off.

This collection is available in 7 shades as featured above and below:
