This Christmas, The Cheesecake Shop is making a list, checking it twice and finding out if Australia is naughty or nice with a national survey. From November 18, Australians can take the ultimate test at www.facebook.com/thecheesecakeshop and find out what Santa will be stuffing there stocking with this year.

Peter Dable, National Marketing Manager of The Cheesecake Shop, said “This survey is a chance to determine once and for all whether Australia is a nation of do-gooders or not so nice guys. We included questions that address those pesky moral dilemmas Australians encounter over Christmas and throughout the year”.

The survey will make Australians question their response to scenarios such as the last piece of cake, cooking the Christmas barbeque and the art of re-gifting. However, as it is the season for giving and participants, naughty or nice, will receive a $5 thank you voucher to spend at their nearest The Cheesecake Shop.

I thought I would be cheeky and steal his shower products to make up for times when he has done it to me but let's just say I won't be doing it anytime soon as its too much of a strong masculine smell for me. 

The 'Cool Kick' name is a little misleading (well to me anyway) as it has you thinking that it will be one of those body washes you put on and it gives you that tingly cold chill sensation upon application but it doesn't - you'll still remain warm in that shower with no tingly cold chill sensation, it's more of a kick from the strong smell. 

I personally like pump bottles in the shower for everything it's so much easier and Dan agreed also that shower products are better in pump bottles which unfortunately isn't what the NIVEA MEN 3-in-1 comes in.

REVIEW: Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm

Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm

Never had I tried Covergirl products until LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm and I honestly have no idea why I haven't!!

This Gloss Balm gives you a lipstick and lip gloss look within the one product! I am not often a person who wears lipstick so this is the perfect thing for me. Gives some solid color whilst feeling smooth and looking glossy. 
The texture of these gloss balms are very silky and easily glided onto your lips.

There is no over doing with this product as the more you apply the shiner/wetter your lips look which is a good thing. It's a non-sticky base so you don't have to worry about having one of those horrible moments of a wind gust and having 'hair stuck lips'!

With a twist bottom and a 'jumbo' stick gives you an easy application. 
The color lasted on my lips for about 4hrs before I needed to reapply again. 

So in saying that... it's out with the rest of the lip products in my make-up purse and in with the Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm.

Seraphina Organics Skincare


Seraphina Organics are a luxury/high end skin care brand that is focusing only on the sensitive skin types (eg. eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, severely dry skin or easily acned skin).  
An Australian range made by a gorgeous lady named Amy who started up this skincare as she was tired of having eczema, wanting a better solution to her skin. Amy was living in America at the time which don't have much to offer. 
When Amy moved to Australia she found that us Aussies were further along and there was many out on the market but there wasn't a company that was devoted to sensitive skin. Amy believed that it was an area that needed development. And that is how Seraphina Organics was started.

Girl About Glam Lip Balm - RRP $12.00
A deliciously soft and moisturising lip balm for dry lips. Adds a subtle shine for a sophisticated look. Contains an infusion of shea and cocoa butters and vitamin E.

My favourite piece from the range - this balm is now the first and last thing I put onto my lips at night before bed. It has kept my lips moisturised and restoring the softness back into my lips.
It's refreshing and such a great feeling having smooth soft lips! 
Cute and compact in a little metallic pink case. The sizing of this balm is bigger then the average on marketing so will last double the time! 


Happy Go Lovely Body Custard - RRP $25.00
A wonderfully hydrating and nourishing moisturiser for your body. Will assist your skin to become soft and luminescent. Contains an infusion of shea butter, evening primrose oil, gotu kola, marshmallow and calendula extracts, aloe vera, vitamin E and rose otto.

It really is custard like with the formulation of this being very thick, in saying that it was a little hard to get out of tube. 
There is no real fragrance scent to the custard as most organic products but it provided a thick moisturising cream to my dry skin that lasted for ages.

On With the Glow Body Wash - RRP $19.00
A gentle wash for your body to remove surface oils and grime. Will leave your skin feeling clean, refreshed and hydrated. Contains an infusion of calendula extract, aloe vera, shea butter and evening primrose oil.

This body wash is a gorgeous silky milk like texture. It is gorgeous on the skin. This product doesn't lather into much of a soapy wash,  you can see little bubbles on yourself during application from the wash. There is no real fragrance scent to this wash but thats normal for organic products - it certainly is better smelling then some organic washes that are out there. 
Only wish that this product came in a bigger pump bottle because I know I will be powering through this body wash.

Love Me Tender Hand Wash - RRP $19.00
An extra gentle wash for your hands. Gently washes away surface dirt and oils to leave your skin feeling clean and hydrated during frequent use. Contains an infusion of pomegranate, marshmallow, calendula and gotu kola extracts, shea butter, aloe vera and evening primrose oil.

In a rectangular pump bottle this hand wash is silky, shiny and nourishing. To me this hand wash smelt like play dough!! After using this hand wash it leaves your hands feeling moisturised and very soft which was such a difference to normal hand washing products that left me having dry and itchy skin within minutes after use.

Be Mine, So Devine Hand Cream - RRP $20.00
A thick and lusciously moisturising cream for the hands to use throughout the day. Contains an infusion of shea and cocoa butters, aloe vera, calendula and gotu kola extracts, rose otto and vitamin E.

I wish I had come across Seraphina Skincare range especially this hand cream before I was pregnant!! With having eczema it was hard to be able to use those prescribed creams as most had steroids in them, which you really need to be careful with when you're pregnant. 
This hand cream has been a treasure to use as the main cream on my hands during the day instead of steroid prescription which I'm not meant to use very much. It's also good to give my hands a break from the steroid prescription creams so that it can actually  get the chance to work better. 
Again this product doesn't have much of a scent to it but it works wonders to my poor eczema effected hands leaving it moisturised and soft.


Splash, Camera, Action! Bath Soak - RRP $21.00
A soothing body soak for dry, itchy and inflamed skin. Contains an infusion of oat flour, chamomile and rose otto to calm, soften and hydrate the skin.

I've remember as a kid my sister and I who suffered from eczema were given a bath together separate from our other siblings because we couldn't have the nice bath salts or bath bombs added into our water. Had this been back when we were younger this would of given bath time something to look forward to and be like our siblings having something besides just water to bathe in.
It soaked my skin really well in its gorgeous little salts and locked in moisturise which is what eczema really needs. The tough hard eczema parts on my skin were left softer and easier for me to move the effect areas (as eczema can make you a little stiff in the joints if that is an effected area).



Future movements for Seraphina Organics-
Seraphina Organics are very determined to have every product that someone with sensitive skin could ever need that they're taking their next step into incorporating face products, then add on products for the feet, hair, more for the hands, body and lips. Eventually they plan to make products for men and babies so the whole family can enjoy the benefits of Seraphina Organics. 
Seraphina Organics will also be re-branding in the new year giving them a more luxurious packaging (which I don't think is needed though, but very keen to see what they have planned for us all.)

REVIEW: Whole Kids Certified Organic Snacks



Whole Kids range of 22 certified organic, additive-free, allergen-friendly snack foods allows parents to breathe easy knowing that they are giving their child real food that doesn’t contain any nasties.

The Whole Kids range of organic corn chips, popcorn, sultanas, fruit bars and juice is GMO free with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, allergens, synthetic pesticides and herbicides, and is packaged in FSA accredited BPA-free packaging.

The products have been developed in consultation with more than 300 parents, as well as dieticians at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital, in order to meet the new guidelines for products distributed through hospitals.

When I was told about Whole Kids range I took them on for a review without having a child of my own who could test these (My darling is only a baby still) so I targeted my sister who is in primary school aged 11 and together we reviewed the range:

Whole Kids Organic Corn Chips 
RRP $2.00 for 35g
Have a big cheesy taste made from all-natural seasoning without any nature-identical flavours. The deliciously crunchy corn chips are made with organic wholegrain stone ground corn and organic non-hydrogenated vegetable oil.
REVIEW: The 35g serving size is a generous amount for kids. What surprised me is that the corn chips were little circle shapes (or have I been exposed to too many bad corn chippies that I only know the triangular ones hehe). They definitely are a different texture compared to the other corn chips I have tasted but they aren't bad. Our favourite was the Sea Salt - completely lick lipping afterwards!


Whole Kids Organic Popcorn 
RRP $2.25 for 12g
Is air-popped to help retain the corn’s fibre and is so delicious your kids won’t even know it’s healthy. 

REVIEW: This was our favourite of the range - Manaka Honey YUMMMO! I relived caramel popcorn as a child when I tried these but in a healthier option. This was a very generous serving amount for the kids which I don't think you would find the younger ones getting through all of the serving. 

Whole Kids Organic Sultanas and Apricots 
RRP $3.95 for 6 x 25g sachets
Are a combination of naturally sun-ripened sultanas and apricots that are free from sulphites, typically added to apricots during processing to retain their orange colour. 

REVIEW: The difference in taste that I experienced here was how much fresher the sultanas were in comparison to other brands. 
The sultanas + apricots were majority sultanas in the packet, we would have liked to have seen that the apricots were more of the fuller size instead of the little diced pieces.

Whole Kids Organic Fruit Bars 
RRP $6.95 for 5 x 40g bars
 Are based on three organic fruit combinations that are oven baked (not fried) in a nut-free bakery.
REVIEW: These fruit bars weren't really to our liking as we found them dry and just too much to have in your mouth because of the dryness. However the fruit taste was a nice subtle flavour to the bake cover.

Whole Kids Organic Frooshie
RRP $2.75 for 6 x 90g pouches
Fruit smoothies are available in six different flavours based on real organic fruit mixed with organic vegies, honey, wholegrain quinoa and rice flakes, with no added sugar.

REVIEW: Frooshies were a complete hit! Compact and easy little snack that can be put in Mum's handbag for when the kids are hungry and no need to worry about a big chunky piece of fruit that will most likely get bruised.
Frooshies combine those essential fruit/veg and with it being a puree/smoothie base you are more likely to be able to sneak them into your child that they will never eat in the raw single fruit/veg flesh. You can taste nothing but pure fruits and veg in these frooshies!

Whole Kids Organic Juice 
RRP $2.50 for 250ml
Range is based on Australian certified organic apples, mixed with blackcurrant, and pear, to create three flavour combinations that kids will love.

REVIEW: Fresh and full flavours hit your mouth when you have these, the real taste of these flavours are incredible! 
Our favourite was the apple + pear - it's rare that you find pear juice and I don't understand that as I believe that pears are definitely on the highly liked list for fruit. Working back in after school care a few years back - pears were a massive hit!


I know that when my children are older I want them to be able to maintain a healthy diet and Whole Kids will definitely be a brand I will keep my eye out for when the time comes. 
Whole Kids range is all well thought from the flavours to the presentation of packaging! I recommend these to any family with children who are from the ages 2-11year old and the adults (I was a big lover of the Whole Kids range). 
Whole Kids is probably the only brand of healthy kid snacks that I could honestly say is affordable these days - with healthy snacks from Whole Kids being so affordable, you can't have an excuse of healthy being expensive anymore!

Famed Illusion Designer Jim Steinmeyer, who has worked with leading magicians David Copperfield, Lance Burton and Siegfried & Roy, brings his more than 20 years of world-class experience to the illusions in the show, which include:
