Christmas Chocolates Recipe

Christmas chocolate are an easy one but I'll still pop a recipe up and chat about the things I used to make this chocolates look the part for Christmas.

This year we are all about making homemade gifts for Christmas so chocolates was also on our Christmas baking agenda.

We made a few batches of these and to start with we tried to go on the cheapest cost of cooking but they were awful in taste so we did another batch with quality chocolate. Its up to you which chocolate melts you use but for us we liked using Cadbury Melts in our cooking.

Christmas Chocolates

Ingredients: Cadbury Chocolate Melts (white, dark or milk)

Method:
  • Place chocolate melts in the microwave or saucepan and melt down
  • Pour melted chocolate into moulds
  • Freeze for about 30 mins

Please Note: this recipe is not tempered so the chocolate will melt and be kept in a cool place e.g fridge.

We brought our Christmas Snowman and Santa moulds from Kmart (RRP $2) which they are said to be ice cube moulds - in which this can be a double use for your Christmas party/day feasts.

We brought the heart shaped foil moulds from Daiso (RRP $2.80), they come in a 24pk.

These look great with a mixture of white, milk and dark chocolates, placed into a clear loot bag with ribbon around the top for a gift.

Merry Christmas & Happy Baking!
