Raw Chocolate Bark Recipe

For those health conscious looking for a healthier option of chocolates on the dinner table this year can now enjoy a sweet treat at those parties, lunches or dinner.

I have a real sweet tooth when it comes to chocolate so I needed to find a replacement that can help take away those cravings and watch my waistline at the same time.

Raw Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:
1/2 tsp of coconut nectar or agave nectar
4 tbsps of cacao powder
4 tbsps of H2Coco Coconut Oil (use when solid or softened, not melted)
30g of almonds (chopped)
1/4 cup of goji berries
1/4 cup of coconut chips
1 tbsp of black & white chia seeds

Method:
  • Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl (add as much nectar as you need to sweeten your chocolate)
  • Place chocolate mix onto a sheet of baking paper and spread out evenly with a mixing stick
  • Scatter choppd almonds, chia seeds, coconut chips and goji berries
  • Place chocolate bark into freezer for 30 minutes
  • Cut into pieces or break into pieces for the 'bark' uneven look

These look well presented in clear loot bags that are sealed at the top or either wrapped with ribbon.

Merry Christmas & Happy Baking!
