The most wonderful time of the year... Myer Giftorium is open for business

Myer have done it again and are back with their fantastic Giftoirum - making Christmas for everyone super easy. Buy for everyone under the same roof, even same floor. Melbourne's Giftorium is located on the sixth floor of the Emporium where you can enjoy activities with the kids and creating personalized gifts for your loved ones.

The biggest hit for us this year was the Nutella stand. We have always been Nutella crazy in the house, even on the healthy living Mumma will still need a weekly fix of it... all about the balanced diets, IIFYM or flexible dieting to fit the Nutella in haha.
I'll share a little story with you as to how Nutella holds a special place to us... when I was pregnant with Niah I would crave Nutella hard out towards the end of my pregnancy and therefore we nick named her 'Telli' short for Nutella when she was in the womb and still call her 'Telli' from this day on.

The Nutella stand is right to the left of you as you come up the escalators. For $12.95 you can have your own personalized Nutella tub with your name on a 750g tub of pure delight. Don't stress if you can't get instore - you can order these online.

Personalizing stations  are a hit for us which included R&A Leather, Wilson Leather and Mr Men/Little Miss or Peanuts cartoon prints. I also spotted a station where you could personalize santa sacks, face washers and towels.
For some reason I am always drawn to personalized items for any occasion as it adds a special thoughtful touch that shows you have gone to effort for this person.

Other Pop-Up  Shops included Star Wars with interactive play for the children, Disney (Melbourne had a coloring in station), Marvin's Magic, Arts & Crafts (Melbourne had the chance to make their own hanging pot plants with My Flowerhouse) and Games & Puzzles.

This year Build-A-Bear also made an appearance at the Giftorium in Myer Melbourne for their first shop-in-shop. Children can make their own Christmas presents or make their cousins or maybe siblings one to pop under the tree.

The Myer team put on a treat of a buffet with Christmas themed treats for the media, which is always so well set out. Meringues, Gingerbread Reindeer and Houses, Bark, Cookies, Muffins and Puddings with some infused water beverages.

As per last year Myer make Christmas gift giving easier with having seven themes to help the ease of Christmas shopping; For Her, For Him, Tech Guru, Kids Cubby (kids), Paws Corner (pets), Stocking Fillers and Food Fanatic.

Join Myer Melbourne on Tuesday 10th November, 2015 where Myer will unveil the 60th season of the Myer Christmas Animated Windows with The Face of Myer; Jennifer Hawkins. Santaland will also launch on the same day, so be sure to stop by if you are in the area.
Myer's Giftorium will officially launch on the Saturday 14th of November, 2015 with performances by Dami Im and Hi-5 for the kids to enjoy.

#MUMLIFE TUESDAY'S - The self upkeep battles of a woman turned Mumma

Back in the days before Niah I would get the following things done on the regular...
Spray tan every 1-2 weeks, acrylic (fake) nails every 4 weeks, pedicures done monthly, I could do my makeup in a relaxed time frame, full body waxing that would be done every two weeks with upper half and lower half rotation.

Now days it's...
NO spray tans - I'm the whitest I think I have ever been.

Rare occasion fake nails and hardly ever self manicured and I'll usually be sporting the patches of nail polishes that are still alive after weeks of that first lacquer application.
Recently I went out and got my nails done with acrylics put on - just the french type, taking me back to the before days but there is struggles that now came with it as a Mumma...
Example 1 - POOP! There's poop under my nail!
Example 2 - Your nail no longer fits up their little nostrils to pick those boogers out for them.
Example 3 - I have a collection of bum cream now moisturizing the underneath of my nails.

NO pedicures - I used to use those feet scrapers that 'shave' the bottoms of your feet, taking the dead skin off but that thing has been lost... lost for a very long time.

Makeup for me now can rarely be a sit down thing where I can spend copious amounts of time perfecting the 'face of the day'. Now days I will have to stand in the bathroom and rush to put my face on whilst Niah is busy brushing her teeth or spending at least 5 minutes washing her hands as she loves to ensure she puts on every soap that is in the cupboard.
Or we end up having the occasional sit down where Niah likes to join in and we end up with something like the below photo.

I generally can only get waxed on my face every couple of months and the rest of the body gets a shave if I have time...  Generally I have a shower buddy and no I don't mean a 'manfriend'.
I'm talking this little gorgeous girl who doesn't like to stand in the shower beside you and you end up showering with this attached little monkey with arms tight around your neck and legs wrapped tightly around your torso, ensuring you are not going to put her down. Don't get me wrong I love the cuddles but Mumma can barely shower herself.

But in saying all this, I wouldn't have my life any other way. I love my life much, much more as a Mum. I have more love, joy and happiness within my life now that I have little Niah here.

Stepping into Spring with Jeanswest [FASHION POST]

Recently I attended a showing of the new lines that would come across Jeanswest stores. I am not a big fashionista or anything like my little one as I was not as comfortable in my own skin until of recent, so you will be seeing more and more fashion like posts where I'll be getting my trends on.

I was really excited about going along to see Jeanswest's newest ranges that are almost nearly all out now, with several different collections.
For me Jeanswest was the door that opened up for me allowing me to get out of those daily leggings and oversized t-shirts. I can honestly say that I would normally wear Jeanswest on a daily basis, even too work! There is just so much that Jeanswest are offering right now that gets me excited about clothes.

Down below I have put together some pieces that I wear casually and through work with their latest ranges.

Whether the weather be hot or cold the Jordan Belted Sleeveless Jacket is the perfect piece to dress up or dress down. Melbourne gives us some shocking weather so I love wearing this piece to work with a white long sleeve underneath to add the corporate attire look.

The Libbie Strap Back Tank would have to be one of my favourite pieces of clothing right now. Super soft and feels very comfortable to wear. I wear this to events or to work with a non current blazer that is beige in color from Jeanswest.

Bessie Curve Embracer Bermuda Shorts are a go to piece right now for me. I wear these casually just with a tee over the top and have actually worn them once to work with the Libbie Strap Back Tank, a long line thin cardigan and a pair of heels to have a bit of a casual formal look, I think it definitely passed. Shorts aren't something you usually see me in but thanks to Jeanswest you now do.

L to R: Wren Lyocell Jacket RRP $119.00, Ariel Multi-Layer Cami RRP $49.99 and Curve Embracer Super Skinny Jeans in Absolute Black RRP $79.99.

All the pieces above are go to pieces as well for my wardrobe right now. You will have seen many photos on my social media that have me sporting the above. Comfortable and trendy at the same time. They say that lines going horziontally makes you look bigger, well no sorry this cami doesn't for me at all and I'm completely in love.
The jacket is the perfect suit to next to everything for a casual day out, lightweight and comfortable.

Did you like these pieces? Want to purchase them? Or maybe you plan to visit Jeanswest.. Well now is the best time with 40% off until 8th November, 2015.
See details below. Your welcome.
