CALLOUT: Bobux Xplorer Kids Shoes

A few weeks ago I was spending a lot of time encouraging my daughter to walk, she would share a few steps with us and then need to rest before she went again but now you see this little girl walking and trying to run around, thinking that she has been doing this for a very long time!

My Niah started walking at 15 months (a few weeks ago) and it's come the time where we had to purchase shoes for Niah. As a first time Mum I was a little clueless as to what I should be looking for but then you just need to go over your common practice and put it into perspective of what you would look for in a shoe for yourself; you want something comfortable, supportive and allows you to move easily (kudos to all us ladies who wear killer heels just to match our outfits).

Cruelty-Free Christmas with LUSH

I'm still gobsmacked that Christmas is only 3 sleeps away now. Can you believe how fast this year has gone and can you tell me where it has gone?
I honestly feel like just yesterday I gave birth to my little Niah who celebrated her first birthday this year and is ready to meet her second Christmas, although this year Niah is able to unwrap her presents herself and understand a little better.

Gingerbread House with Kmart

It's not normal of me to get into a festive baking frenzy, which you will have seen on my past recent posts and my social media channels but I think now that Niah is older and needs entertaining that we can enjoy baking and decorating together.

Summer Holidays

This year Niah and I are jetting overseas for the first time!
Myself being nearly 24 is heading overseas for the first time, whilst little Miss. Niah at 16 months is already heading overseas!

We're heading to my Dad's hometown and my half background of Samoa.
Countdown officially is under a month now.

Tee -Zed Magic Table Lamps REVIEW

Night lights is a necessity I think when it comes to having kids. Not only for their room until they feel safe enough to sleep in the dark but around the house for when you need to get up to go be saviour to their cries or to their bad dreams.

Tee-Zed have a range of gorgeous Disney characters lamps - Mickey, Minnie and Pooh Bear which will light up your child's room with a low soothing yellowy orange shade of light.

Slim Secrets Bare Bars & Protein Indulgent Shakes REVIEW

Slim Secrets have two (2) new kids on the block which arrived at my house a short time ago. I've featured Slim Secrets before on my blog which you might have read and I really enjoyed what they had to offer and became a regular addition into my shopping trolley as I did my weekly shop.
Slim Secrets were a range of snack bars and snack balls but now they have put some loving into two newbies - Bare Bars & Protein Indulgent Shakes.

Clean eating is the big thing now and everyone is looking for the as close to natural food, which is what inspired founder Sharon Thurin to have a look at the market and see that there is not a lot of offerings from brands that have 'clean eating' bars. This is when Bare Bars made their way out from Slim Secrets.
Bare Bars come in two (2) flavours - Berries & Cream and Double Choc.

Christmas Chocolates Recipe

Christmas chocolate are an easy one but I'll still pop a recipe up and chat about the things I used to make this chocolates look the part for Christmas.

This year we are all about making homemade gifts for Christmas so chocolates was also on our Christmas baking agenda.

We made a few batches of these and to start with we tried to go on the cheapest cost of cooking but they were awful in taste so we did another batch with quality chocolate. Its up to you which chocolate melts you use but for us we liked using Cadbury Melts in our cooking.

Raw Chocolate Bark Recipe

For those health conscious looking for a healthier option of chocolates on the dinner table this year can now enjoy a sweet treat at those parties, lunches or dinner.

I have a real sweet tooth when it comes to chocolate so I needed to find a replacement that can help take away those cravings and watch my waistline at the same time.

Christmas Baking: Healthy Gingerbread Men Recipe

It's now 4 days out from Christmas which means that if you were to start your Christmas baking they would still remain at a good eatable state for Christmas Day. Time to begin baking everyone!
We were inspired by an event that we attended last week where we got to decorate gingerbread so we thought why not try and make gingerbread ourselves that is a healthier version.

Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out

Theodora's Beauty Boutique

Having a place that you feel comfortable in as soon as you walk in the doors is exactly what we all seek when it comes to having to attend beauty appointments isn't it?
Well, closely following with first being that you are getting quality and exactly what you wanted.

Theodora's Beauty Boutique invited me in to their salon for a lash extension which I was super thrilled about because I have never had eyelash extensions before and have always been really keen to try out.

Theodora's Beauty Boutique has two (2) locations - Doncaster and Hawthorn.
I popped into the Hawthorn location and was treated by the stunning Ana who you could tell knew her beauty stuff by the way she had the flawless brows, lashes and cosmetics application. You always need to ensure you attend a salon/boutique where the staff reflect well with the industry I say.

Dreambaby Stroller Bag REVIEW

A pram is never equipped enough to carry all your needs I say. You have your under basket which will carry your groceries/shopping if not your handbag and then there is only so much you can hang on the handle bars before the pram gets unstable and starts to pop wheelies on you.

DreamBaby Sliding Door Safety Decals REVIEW

This is something I wouldn’t have even thought about and had no idea was available actually until we were sent the DreamBaby Sliding Door Safety Decals.

Did you know that an estimated 3,600 children in Australia sustain serious glass cut injuries each year, many from window and door glass? Unfortunately over 25% of Australian homes have unsafe glass situations, and/or glass which is not safety rated or reinforced, particularly in older homes and in homes which were built before the introduction of shatter-proof glass. Prevention of accidents involving all glass areas is VITAL. Dreambaby® Sliding Glass Door Safety Decals are ideal for preventing dangerous accidents that can happen when a child runs into a closed sliding glass door. The decals are visible from both sides of the door, helping children (and adults) realise the doors are closed.

Everloc Xpressions Dental Station REVIEW

Having been introduced to Everloc through my blog a little while back now I have been inlove with their range and how they make everyday products so simple to use.
Once again these are products that are perfect for your rental properties where you may not be able to gain permission to put things onto walls, tiles etc or you may not want to leave fixings on the wall permanently.
Everloc products allow you to take the products off their holdings with ease of knowing there is no mess left behind or damage done to the house after removal.

First time for IKEA

I finally went to an IKEA store! I'm so super late jumping on this band wagon and after hearing everyone talk about IKEA the way they do, I now understand why.
My goodness I can tell you that if I wasn’t on time restrictions and car space limitations then I would have easily spent a small fortune that could have had me as a shareholder of IKEA.

Niah & I ventured out to the IKEA Richmond location here in Melbourne which is located on Victoria St/Burnley St.
Parking is free within the first 4 hours of being at the store which I would think is ample and enough timing for every IKEA shopper to park free unless you were buy one of everything or picking up every item within IKEA to look at.

HoMedics NEWA skin rejuvenation system REVIEW

A little while ago you will have seen my post about the newest product to come from HoMedics which shared information about the NEWA skin rejuvenation system that I was into my first few days of trialling. I'm back to report on how I went with the NEWA skin rejuvenation system after days 30-40.

As I said in my first post I really wasn't sure how I would go and if this product was right for me being that I am still young and not within that target age range that the NEWA skin rejuvenation system is aimed for, the NEWA skin rejuvenation system trail for me was more of a prevention as to what my skin may face when I get older.

I won't make this post about the information of the NEWA as you will be able to head over to my other post for the NEWA skin rejuvenation system for all the details needed, this post will cover how I went on the trial and my final thoughts of the product overall.

I've broken it down for you into what I thought were the top three (3) pros and cons about NEWA.

Top 3 Pros:
DIY at home
Inexpensive compared to salon treatments
Small, compact and easy to use

Top 3 Cons:
Time needed to run a full session
Short cord and needing to be near a powerpoint
Upfront purchase commitment

I'll go into detail with chatting over my cons as to why I put these down-
I understand that when you want something to happen you need to commit to the hard hours but sometimes having 20 mins isn't always something do-able when you're a busy Mum who runs around all day with a 24/7 job. Although when you use the NEWA over time you will become a pro and not need to sit in-front of a mirror to watch what you are doing and can take the NEWA to the couch it's where I found the short cord became a problem, also being that you need to sit near a powerpoint to use the device.

Committing to a large product price tag of the NEWA skin rejuvenation system of $499 is a big chunk to come out of the pocket, whilst we can all justify that if things are worth the price than we are more than happy to work out the cost expense into the budget somehow but for those who struggle to allow a big wad of cash go on a device it would be nice to have an offering of instalment payments like you see on those TV shop ads where you pay upfront delivery and then 30 days after start paying x amount for a few months until you have fully paid the device off. This would also go in well with their 60 day guarantee of the NEWA which I chatted about in my previous post.

Moving onto where my skin is currently at and how I feel the NEWA skin rejuvenation system worked for me.
Taking on the NEWA I didn't expect much of a change to be honest because of my age so I knew that trialling this product I may have to wait a few more years to see the beneficial changes from using the NEWA. For now I can tell you that I am still feeling that tightness in my skin from the areas I would rub the NEWA over, my skin is feeling more plump and like it has renewed skin that has come off a newborn baby.
This may sound silly but its like my face had a mini makeup, whilst it may not look like it through my pictures but I feel like my face has been thinned out. My face feels tighter and more pulled together rather than just having skin hanging over it.

Day 15
Day 30 - 40

If you can afford the NEWA skin rejuvenation system it's worth a shot, if I am feeling like this with no wrinkles and at such a young age - imagine what you can gain from it with the target aim skin.

Newa is a Skin Rejuvenation System that reduces wrinkles naturally. Clinically proven to firm, tighten and lift skin by reactivating your skin’s natural ability to produce collagen, Newa reduces wrinkles by up to 45% in just 12 weeks all in the comfort of your own home. Christmas with Bakers Delight

O’ Christmas Tree, O’ Christmas Tree Celebrate the Festive Season with Bakers Delight

Christmas is always a busy time, it feels like all we think, do and be about is Christmas for about 6 weeks even before it hits the real day!
Christmas parties will keep you occupied for weeks in advance and you'll end up racking your brain trying to think of what you should bring along with you when you're told to bring a plate.
For me we had our Mothers Group christmas party and it was bring a plate, I got in late so everything was already catered for with the usual sausage rolls, fruit and veg platters, cupcakes, hot chickens etc so that's when I turned to Bakers Delight for a real festive treat!

Voice of 2014 Kidspot Gala Awards Night

Last Saturday night was a complete new experience once again for me. I was invited along to the Kidspot - Voices of 2014 Gala Awards Night. This was so exciting to see when an invite came across my inbox, I have never worked with Kidspot before and never attended an event of theirs so I was over the moon and really felt that my blog had purpose and was making it up there.

Voices of 2014 was held at Sketch along Harbour Esplanade in the Docklands of Melbourne. The very last building before it hits the water, so we were presented with a gorgeous view when the curtains inside opened up - perfect photo opps!

Morrexico at Terminus, Flinders Hotel

I claim to be a foodie but compared to the dedicated food bloggers I meet a few Saturday's ago, I am nothing. I know I'm not a full on foodie blogger but I do post quite a bit of food related things onto my channels so it was good to take on something a little different to spice things up.
Talking about spicing things up I attended my first ever sit down dinner for fine dining as part of media.

Daiso Blogger Breakfast Event

Attending a blogging event is always a pleasure for me, it's a great chance to network with other bloggers, public relation companies and get to know the brand/company better.
This was my first bloggers breakfast through my blogging time and I was super excited to start my day early - not that, that is any different in my lifestyle now being a busy Mumma and having a lifestyle of loving to greet the day at early hours.

Daiso Flinders Street exclusively invited along some very lucky bloggers which included myself to an intimate breakfast with a healthy styled breakfast buffet. A menu to die for! Courtesy of the catering company HealthyByte.
