GAIA Pure Pregnancy

GAIA Pure Pregnancy products have been a blessing to trial. I had never tried nor heard of GAIA until I got sent these out but I am surely glad that these came into my possession as they have become something that I've put on my highly recommended list.
GAIA Pure Pregnancy comes in Belly Butter or Belly Oil which I love when you have the option of a cream/butter or oil.

GAIA Pure Pregnancy provides you with nourishing products to use on your belly, breasts, thighs and bottom areas. GAIA helps to maintain suppleness and elasticity of your skin during pregnancy and beyond. GAIA reduces the appearance of existing stretchmarks and the possibility of new ones.

I love the spray on oil - Its light, minimal greasy, comes in a spray bottle and feels and smells nice just like the belly butter - this is also very much the same but I like using the butter as what I call 'rub rubs for bubba'.
I use the Belly Butter when I am relaxed and giving my stomach and chest area a good rub for baby and then I use the Belly Oil as it's easy, convenient when I am in a hurry to get bubbas rub rubs done as it applies and rubs in so easy and quick.
I must say this is a daily product for me and I do believe that it has reduced the appearance of new stretch marks, although my stomach is growing at a rapid rate now; I have barely any new stretchmarks appear on my belly.
Both these products are ideal for dry, itchy skin and can be used to smooth caesarean scars.

GAIA Pure Pregnancy Belly Butter is deeply moisturising and contains pure cocoa butter, organic shea butter and a variety of organic oils in a cream that will leave your skin feeling soft without a greasy layer. RRP - $17.95 for 150ml

GAIA Pure Pregnancy Belly Oil is a perfect blend of organic wheat germ, jojoba and rosehip oils to massage into your skin for a soft, supple, beautiful belly.  RRP - $17.95 for 95ml

GAIA Pure Pregnancy is naturally scented with a subtle blend of essential oils suitable for use during pregnancy. There is NO petrochemicals, mineral oil, lanolin, vitamin A or artificial fragrance.

GAIA Pure Pregnancy products are available through Terry White Chemists, Priceline, all major baby stores, independent chemists and health stores.

Legally Blonde: The Musical

All those who know me well enough will know that I have been a die hard biggest fan ever to Reese Witherspoon and fell inlove with her from her younger filming days.
Legally Blonde is definitely on the top of the list of my favs of her movies and I was the little groupie who went and saw these in cinemas - even the second one in cinemas by myself whilst I left my movie date watching something else haha.

When I heard Legally Blonde was being made into a Musical, I was dying to go! I was very lucky enough to be taken by my best friend to the musical - what a best friend right?!?!?!?

Lucy Durack played main character Elle alongside heart-throb Rob Mills playing Warner.
What amazing actors to be selected. Was a bit sad that Rob played the bad guy, would of loved to have seen him as Emmett.

Legally Blonde is an awesome girls night out to get the crew together and enjoy something different then just a plain old lunch or dinner date.
Legally Blonde: The Musical has catchy songs that will get stuck into your head and leave you singing them after the show in your head, or maybe in the shower?? whatever your fancy ;P

My favourite things about the musical was selecting Erika Heynatz as Brooke who is accused of murdering her husband and needs a good lawyer to prove her innocence.
I've seen Erika on TV a few times and it was really good to see her live in performance doing something other then tv shows. Who knew that Erika was that fit and had a perfect body? I was so shocked seeing her in her jail jumpsuit, that woman is stunning!!
In the jail scenes you will see that some of the girls in the background are boys which I had a chuckle over - wonder if it was balloons for those oversized boobs?

Another favourite to the show was Paulette's UPS guy - they made an extra ordinary performance together!!

And we can't forget the 2 show stoppers -

'Bruiser' and 'Rufus' on Opening Night. Photo Credit: Jeff Busby.

Melbourne is the last stop for Legally Blonde: The Musical so best to get in quick before the show leaves Melbournians! Even those boys reading... surprise the misses!! She'll love it and I know secretly you will too ;P I had a guy sitting next to me with his partner and he was laughing through it as well.

ELES Signature Eye Quad

Another love devotion blog post to my beloved ELES cosmetics is for the amazing ELES Signature Eye Quads. ELES have 3 gorgeous signature eye quads as featured below in my collage. These quads would be the perfect eye shadows to sport in Winter.

Magical alone but mesmerizing when they merge, ELES Mineral Shadow Quad creates a myriad of eye effects within one convenient compact. Hypoallergenic, Oil-free, Dye-free, Talc-free, Fragrance-free. Earth-derived micro-minerals produce a smoother application for longer lasting eyeshadow that is crease resistant. Jet milled pigments create a smooth velvet finish and blend easily. Vitamins A, C & E to condition and protect the delicate eye area.

A must have for winter is the ELES Signature Eye Quad in Nouveau Riche, the quads have 4 silky pearlescent shades and in the one I am lucky enough to posses is a beautiful warm quad selection of brunt orange, warm brown, gold and charcoal.

This eyeshadow provides you with the warm colours needed for winter but yet gives that sparkle and with the hint of gold and orange put together you have something magical!
The way I wore mine was to brush the gold underneath my eye, put a base on the eyelid of the brunt orange, crease with the warm brown and streak the edge of my eyelid with the charcoal.
This eye quad is truly amazing and lasted all day!! Not once did I have to reapply throughout the day, it still looked perfect upon removing ready for bed.
ELES always amazes me with every product I try, there is not a day that goes past that I wear ELES without having compliments of how good and fresh my skin looks - click to check out my ELES primer & mineral liquid foundation review: http://njtreviews.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/eles-mineral-makeup-liquid-powder.html

ELES Signature Eye Quads RRP is $99.00.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Arginine Resist x3 Range

L’Oreal Paris has launched the first hair care range enriched with Arginine from April 2013. Thanks to its triple-action reinforcement power, the Elvive Arginine Resist X3 range nourishes the bulb, restructures the hair fibre and helps hair grow more resistant. Due to its low molecular weight and its power to attract moisture, Arginine preferentially attaches to damaged hair in order to strengthen it. Plus, Arginine supply increases with every application, increasing its power and penetration with every use. The range includes shampoo, conditioner, spray and a miracle treatment.

When I first was advised about these products I was very excited to put them to the test and see how they would work on hair. As I work within a supplement company I understand how the amino acid arginine is responsible for a number of different body functions - one of my colleagues used arginine for the healing of a scar he had on his arm and I must say his wound healed very well.
I was sent out the shampoo, conditioner and spray to try out and I am very impressed with the results. My hair is more healthy and softer, it breaks less easy and I don't have hair that is constantly falling out.
The smell of these products is gorgeous. The spray I always squirt into my hair when going out the door, it just has this gorgeous fresh scent.
I love the colors of the bottles as well - they stand out and are so vibrant! These will definitely be a eye catcher at the shops!!

ELVIVE Arginine Resist X3 Anti Hair Fall Shampoo RRP $6.95
The reinforcing shampoo, with its rich, creamy texture, deposits Arginine on the hair from the roots to ends. Hair fibres are restructured with the very first application and the hair regains power and strength.

ELVIVE Arginine Resist X3 Anti Hair Fall Conditioner RRP $6.95

The conditioner reinforces and increases the action of the shampoo by increasing the concentration of Arginine on the hair fibre. Restored and protected, the hair is less vulnerable to the effects of external aggressors.
ELVIVE Arginine Resist X3 Anti Hair Fall Anti-Hair Fall Spray RRP $9.95

The formula of this intensive spray penetrates quickly, targeting the roots of the hair. A no-rinse product designed to be massaged on the scalp, the reinforcing spray activates micro circulation around the bulb resulting in more resistant hair.

ELVIVE Arginine Resist X3 Anti Hair Fall Miracle Treatment RRP $7.95

To be used after the shampoo, the treatment provides intense care to fragile hair fibres. With its rich, soft texture, the formula complements the effectiveness of Arginine for truly strong results.

27/28 weeks

So our due date has been properly confirmed 12.09.2013 so that puts us back nearly a week in time so it would mean we would be 28 weeks pregnant this Thursday coming instead of the saturday that just past...   :( Kinda depressing as it means we are delayed a week of having our darling here.

Picking a baby name has been a real hard task. I don't know how people decide so quickly, Daniel & I have had such a hard time thinking of something that we would like to have our daughter named for the rest of her life. It's such a huge deal to pick a name, it's something that you will always have to live with; It's not like you can change their names like you do with your dolls or animals when you are younger.
Let's hope we find a name in time before bubs is here!

Something I am really miss during pregnancy is gym; lifting the heavy weights, being on a weight loss campaign and seeing good changes in my body. Working for a supplement company and having used all the products prior to pregnancy also is something I missed.
Can't wait to get back into it after bubs, will be finishing off my PT course and then it will be hard work on this body - seems Daniel says I'll only have a year until I'm pregnant with the next hahah!

Daniel & I booked in for our 4D scan at the end of the month, so very excited to see a life like scan of our baby. I can't wait to share pics with everyone and also have a dvd of it to watch over and over.

Sleeping has been a hard task mainly because I get so uncomfortable - I don't know if it's just our bed or if it's just me getting bigger and being uncomfortable because of it.
It seems our bed isn't big enough for Daniel, Body Pillow, Myself and the baby stomach... It's a fight over who takes up the most room and whose over whose 'line' in the bed haha.
Queen size beds so not recommended for pregnancy - King Size bed would be more comfortable or actually maybe 2 queen beds pushed together haha!

I handed in my maternity leave paperwork on Tuesday - it's making it feel a little closer having a finish date... 16th of August, 2013 will be my date to pack up for a year from the office ready to have my life changed forever.

Had my first glucose test yesterday - drink wasn't that bad to start with but as soon as you get half way, gosh that was cruel! Bubs wasn't even phased by it, I got warned by people that bubs will go physco but not at all. She slept through it all and probably gave 2 solid movements that I could feel through the whole thing.
I have always been scared of needles (yes, I know - well you haven't done yourself any favors getting pregnant) but I'm getting better - this blood test didn't get me worked up too much and didn't really bother me either.

Slava's SNOW SHOW storms into AUSTRALIA - Double Passes Giveaway.

The multi award-winning international sensation SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW storms into Australia for a limited season playing at Comedy Theatre, Melbourne from 17 July to 28 July 2013.

"Slava’s Snowshow is to clowning what Cirque du Soleil is to circus. Slava’s Snowshow is as theatrical as it is simple, as involving as it is inspiring.”   - Variety, USA

Slava Polunin created his Snowshow following his sensational performance as part of Cirque du Soleil’s Alegria, drawing on the influence of artists such as Charlie Chaplin, Marcel Marceau and Leonid Engibarov.  He and his company of clowns have taken clowning out of the world of circus, and brought it into the theater.  SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW is a fusion of traditional and contemporary theatrical clowning arts, and a beautifully crafted visual spectacle.

The show brilliantly creates a world of wonderment and fantasy that transports the audience to a joyous dream-like place, where a bed becomes a boat in a storm-tossed sea; a woman is wrapped in cellophane
and becomes flowers in a vase; a child walks in amazement inside a bubble; SLAVA boards a train and then becomes the train, his chimney-pot hat billowing smoke; and a web of unspun cotton envelopes the audience. The stunning finale sees a letter turn into snowflakes, and the flakes turn into a snowstorm, which whirls around the auditorium, leaving the audience ankle-deep in snow.

This actually a performance I would love to see myself. The way this performance is described just really gets you wondering what it's all about. This is especially weird for me because I don't like people being dressed up nor clowns (don't laugh - childhood taunting haha) but you can just see so much effort and thought has gone into these costumes and performances. It really looks spectacular and I would be delighted to send 2 of my lucky readers and a 1+ of their choice to see the show!

You really must take a look at their youtube trailer video below - It just looks fantastic!!

As I am running a children's family competition I think it's time to give away something to the adults here so I have 2 x double passes for 2 lucky readers for the Wednesday 17th July show at 7:30pm, valued at $158 each double pass!!
