Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream REVIEW

Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream. Could this be real? A sleeping cream? Where have you been all my life. Lucky little me was invited to attend a Breakfast with Garnier and Kidspot where we treated to some goodies including this newbie product which we were first to get our hands on in Australia. You'll be able to pick up this for $19.95 for a 50ml container. As a busy person who has her day filled with some many things inclusive of being a Mum, working close to full time in Sales, going to the gym and more I feel as though the quality of sleep I get is terrible. There's a few things that make my sleep quality poor my phone as I try to try to catch up on my dose of social media before bed - bad I know, I'm having to get up to go to the loo many times a night - troubles of hydrating too much during the day and keeping up a healthy lifestyle or what seems to be the most common one through the past few weeks although I must say the past three nights have been good - Niah waking up at some ungodly hour throwing out everything from her bed and screaming Mumma holding onto her pillow ready to come bunk in bed with Mum. I love the cuddles and affection from my little babe but unfortunately if Niah comes into the bed I have to act like a stick figure sleeping on the edge of the bed with mostly no blanket, Niah's head ontop of mine and an arm arm from face to make sure I don't go no where.
Sleep is such an important role for us all. In fact we spend at least a quarter of our lives sleeping (25 years) statistics tell us. Yes it may seem a lot and we can always spend another day trying to get good sleep but when you have such a busy lifestyle and want to preform well the next day you need to have good sleep and here is where I introduce a Mum's new best friend: Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream.

Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream that is anti-aging and anti-fatiguing is full of calming lavender which you can smell as soon as you unwrap it from its plastic packaging. To be completely honest with you all I'm not a huge fan of lavender and can only take it in small doses but the combination of some other essential oils in the Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream make it a very gorgeous blended scent to use.

The cream is very moisturizing on the skin and rubs in fairly quickly, leaving the areas you've placed the cream over feeling rejuvenated and fresh. The scents as touched on above are very calming so it was a very quick ease into getting to sleep the nights you've put the Miracle Sleeping Cream on as you're breathing in an array of beautiful scents. I have this on my bedside table so as soon as I am ready to get some shut eye I place this on my face and off to night night lands I'll drift off.

Not only is the Miracle Sleeping Cream an agent of helping you to sleep but it's stated that it helps your skin become more radiant, illuminated and clear. With all good sleep you wake up fresh feeling and it'll shine through your face with how well you slept, so thanks to Garnier I'm sporting it all now, even the hair is thanking me as I'm not waking with crazy bed hair from tossing and turning all night.

Garnier BB Cream REVIEW

BB stands for Beauty Balms or Blemish Balms as they help in aiding your skin, in Garnier's case the BB cream provides 24hr* hydration, evens complexion, corrects blemishes, boosts healthy glow and provides UV protection SPF 15.

BB Creams aren't generally something I do use as I like to have a more full coverage rather than light but BB Creams do work well if you are wanting something light, but in saying that you can build the coverage by adding a second layer to your face.

Upon using the Garnier BB cream I can definitely see that it gives you the blemish correcting. My skin is very pigmented with red blotches on my skin which I really don't like and feel the need to put some coverage on my face when I go out. The Garnier BB Cream did help to reduce my redness and even out my skin tone and provide it with a subtle coverage.

The BB Cream comes out a thick creamy texture but don't allow it to confuse you as to how it will go on your face, it goes on smoothly and takes next to little time to blend really quickly into the skin and shows coverage quickly, leaving your face feeling light and feeling almost bare.

BB Cream advises it will be a moisturizing cream in which I do think it provides a decent amount of moisturizing. I suffer from dry skin at times but am mainly a combination skin on my face so I definitely feel as though this BB cream was a good match for my skin.

                              BEFORE                                                                         AFTER
However I did find the medium coloring on my skin wasn't a match as it just gave my skin a dark grey like complexion in person (photos don't seem to pick up the coloring correctly) to it so I'm keen to check out the lighter shade now and see how it goes on my skin.

Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream REVIEW

Attending the Disney On Ice shows are always a highlight for us and as Niah grows older with each show that we attend, it's just beautiful to see how much she understands and intakes.
This year Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream came to town with pieces of the show taking part from the much loved movies of: The Princess and the Frog, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Tangled with of course the best hosts out - Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daffy Duck and Goofy.

Niah was more involved in the show and was all eyes open watching the stage floor. Clapping when each segment finished and pointing out to things she was enjoying.
Niah went dressed as Snow White in which she was shocked to see someone dressed like her on stage. The cutest thing is Niahs natural hair matches Snow White's hair so she was the little identical of Disney's favorite Snow White.

Snow White's piece features a carriage in which four (4) lucky children are selected from the audience to come on stage and be taken for a little ride with the Disney characters. A great involvement for the kids to be able get up close and person with the characters and have a lifetime memorable moment of when they got to be up on stage.

The performance goes for roughly just over 1.5 hours with about a 15-20 minute interval.
Hisense Area was where the performance showed at which has a large amount of seating, close to public transport at the Richmond station and lots of parking close by. Parking along the Yarra River is only 80 cents per hour so very affordable to drive in but do leave earlier as there is quite the traffic jams to these sorts of special events.

One thing that I will critique on the venue hosting is that the amount of late comers to the show (audience wise) really make it hard to be able to see the stage floor. The show runs right on time and they start at the allocated time on the dot but the traffic of people are still coming in the doors.
I do think that a lock out period should apply for the show and they will only be let in through the stage changes where there isn't much happening on the floor.
I do understand that at times things go wrong and we don't make it in time but I think some understanding that children are seated and can't see past the heads that are trailing along the isles to find their seats still.

After the show we were invited back to a media gathering where the children were able to meet two special Disney characters, which happened to be Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Niah has only just started watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on foxtel and adores them so Niah was in much shock once again to be right next to them.

Working Mumma Pt. 2 [LIFE POST]

Previously I posted about my return journey to work, which you can read here to catch up if you missed it. I thought I would come back and touch on it again just giving an update on how I am going.

STRUGGLES -
I am missing my little girl so much and I feel as though I am not with her enough.
There will be times when I just want to stay with her at day care or stay home with her when she goes to her Grandma's house. Tough struggles they are and I really tip my hat to those who have been hard out at work providing for there families especially the Mumma's out there.
Time's don't feel like they are getting any easier after being back at work for coming close to three (3) months now.
My work hours are all over the place. I work in a sales office so their could be clients in the office past our opening hours or reports to run or just work to be finalized that you haven't had time to get done during the day as you've had lots of foot/phone traffic coming in.
I work at least one day on the weekend but occasionally I will work both days which will be happening for a few weeks to come soon.

DAYCARE & NIAH -
Niah is doing really well in daycare. I love that she is getting stimulation from new experiences that we don't do at home and that she gets to interact with other kids as we don't seem to be able to do play dates with friends much anymore due to the availability of everyone.

WORK WEAR -
Gosh picking things out for work seems to be a hard one at times as well. I'm getting bored of the outfits I have for work and hit the shops last week and wasn't really impressed with what's out there.
Along with the struggle of constantly having to update my wardrobe with the changing of my weight loss - which I'm not complaining much but a girl can't be buying a new wardrobe every few weeks... or can she haha.
I actually might need to head back into Jeanswest and see what they have as the pieces I kept from this previous post are being used like no tomorrow at work. I really want to get a black blazer that is like angled cut as well.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on some good office casual but also corporate like clothing as I need some new places to check out.

COMFORTABLE FOOT WEAR -
I have been wearing the same pair of wedges day in, day out to work. They're only a pair of Rubi wedges that I got a few years ago but they are just perfectly matched to anything I wear, mostly black bottoms is the go. I am needing to re-look at getting a different pair so I can change things up a bit and plus don't new shoes always make us feel good?
I'm currently crushing on these:

MAKING TIME FOR EVERYTHING ELSE -
This week my struggle has been trying to fit in grocery shopping and I'm starting to think that ordering online is probably the way to go again as I seem to never have time plus the impulse buys get frustrating as my local supermarket is located in a shopping hub that I always get tempted and wonder off into other stores to purchase things I don't need but want.
Going back to when I posted about 'Getting Healthy & Fit Whilst Being a Mum' recently I am still maintaining myself in going to the gym actively and ensuring I put aside time for me to train regardless of how busy the schedule is looking.
I'm in dire need of going to a salon just to have some TLC on the nails and feet but when the time for that will come... who knows.
